Booking, Deposit, and Cancellation FAQ

Booking FAQ

After we discuss the details of your event and decide on the desserts that you like, if you are interested in booking and would like to proceed, we would require a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance must be paid in full two weeks prior to your event (1 month for weddings). The balance and deposit are NON-REFUNDABLE, meaning you can NOT request a refund of the deposit or balance once paid.

 

Deposit FAQ

Q. Is a deposit required when placing an order?
Yes. We require a non-refundable 50% deposit to book your order. If your balance is not paid IN FULL two week prior to your event, you forfeit your deposit, and risk not being accommodated.

Q. What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept credit cards . For your protection, we do NOT process credit card orders over the phone. However, for your convenience, we can email you an invoice for you to pay online.

What is your refund/cancellation policy?


A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon order placement. Balance is due in full two weeks prior to your event. If an order is not picked up on the day of delivery or delivery is denied, the client is still responsible for the full balance of the order. We will make every attempt to contact you in the event of a missed pickup or denied delivery. If a cancellation is made less than one week prior to your event, the balance is still due in full.

 

*Please understand that when you book an order it becomes our priority to make you exactly what you are wanting.  To do this we decline other orders. If you cancel, that could result in  someone else not getting the The Sugar Hues desserts.  Because of this, we must stand behind our cancellation policy.

In the event of cancellation:

1. All requests for cancellation must be made in writing.
2. If a cancellation is received, your deposit will not be refundable.
3. If a cancellation is received less than one week prior to the promised
    delivery/pickup date, the full balance is still the client’s responsibility.
